Pekanbaru, March 5, 2025 – The Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas Riau successfully organized a seminar titled “Tips and Tricks to Secure Research and Community Service Funding from DRTPM 2025” on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. This event aimed to provide insights for academics and researchers on effective strategies to obtain funding from the Directorate of Research, Technology, and Community Service (DRTPM).

Opening Remarks by Prominent Academics

The seminar was officially opened with remarks by Dr. Hj. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, SE, MM, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Riau. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of high-quality research and community service proposals to compete for funding successfully.

Additionally, Dr. H. M. Rasuli, SE, M.Si., Ak., CA., ACPA, Chairman of IAI Riau, delivered an opening speech. He highlighted that maximizing funding opportunities requires a deep understanding of DRTPM’s criteria and priorities.

The seminar featured four distinguished speakers who have successfully secured research and community service funding from DRTPM:

    • Shared her successful experiences in obtaining DRTPM research funding and the key aspects of a strong proposal.

  3. Yesi Mutia Basri, SE., M. Si., Ak., Ph.D., CA., CGAA

    • Explained the importance of academic forums and networking in increasing funding opportunities.

  4. Nur Azlina, SE., M. Si., Ak., Ph.D., CA., CGAA

    • Discussed strategies for impactful community service projects that attract DRTPM’s attention.

The seminar was moderated by Dr. Vera Oktari, SE., M.Ak., Ak., CA., CGAA., CBIA, who guided the discussion interactively, ensuring participants gained in-depth insights.
