Internal Quality Audit Visit at the Undergraduate Accounting Program of FEB-UNRI: Enhancing Educational Quality

Riau, Indonesia - The Undergraduate Accounting Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Riau (FEB-UNRI), proudly hosted an Internal Quality Audit (AMI) visit on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to ensure and enhance the quality of education provided to students.

The Internal Quality Audit is a critical mechanism within the higher education quality assurance system. This activity aims to evaluate how well the academic program has been implemented according to established standards and criteria.

Presence of the AMI Team and Agenda

The AMI visit was attended by an internal audit team comprising experienced experts and academics in the field of higher education quality assurance. The visit’s agenda included:

  • Opening remarks and welcome address by Dr. Hj. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, SE., MM, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business.

  • Presentation on the profile and achievements of the Undergraduate Accounting Program by the Head of the Department, Dr. Arumega Zarefar, SE., M.Ak., Ak., CA.

  • Review of documents and physical evidence supporting the implementation of quality standards.

  • Discussions and Q&A sessions with faculty and administrative staff regarding curriculum implementation and academic activities.

  • Interviews with student representatives to gather feedback and evaluations on the learning process.

  • Closing and recommendations provided by the audit team.

In his address, Dr. Arumega Zarefar, SE., M.Ak., Ak., CA emphasized the importance of the AMI in maintaining and enhancing the quality of education in the Undergraduate Accounting Program.
