Undergraduate Accounting Program at FEB UNRI Collaborates with PT. Eriadi Fathkhur Rokhman Area Riau for Government Accounting Technical Training
Pekanbaru, January 24, 2025 – The Undergraduate Accounting Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Riau (FEB UNRI), has officially established a collaboration with PT. Eriadi Fathkhur Rokhman Area Riau to enhance the competencies of students and educators in the field of government accounting. The signing of the memorandum of understanding took place in Pekanbaru on January 24, attended by representatives from both parties.
This collaboration aims to organize technical training for students, lecturers, and academic staff to deepen their understanding of government accounting. Through this training program, participants are expected to gain more practical insights into public sector financial reporting systems, the latest regulations, and best practices in government financial management.
Head of the Undergraduate Accounting Program at FEB UNRI, Dr. Meilda Wiguna, S.E., M.Sc., Ak., CA, stated in her speech that this partnership is a strategic step in enhancing the competitiveness of graduates in the field of government accounting. “We believe that collaborating with PT. Eriadi Fathkhur Rokhman will provide significant benefits, not only for students but also for the institution by enriching the curriculum with practical knowledge relevant to industry needs,” she said.
Meanwhile, the Operational Manager of PT. Eriadi Fathkhur Rokhman Area Riau, Taqiyuddin Amri, S.E., CGAA, also expressed his commitment to supporting the development of competent human resources in the field of government accounting. “We hope that this collaboration will produce professionals who are well-prepared to face challenges in the public sector and capable of applying government accounting principles optimally,” he stated.
Through this technical training, the Undergraduate Accounting Program at FEB UNRI continues to strive for quality education and skill development to better prepare students for the workforce, particularly in government accounting.
