The election for non-professor senate members of the Accounting Department at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), University of Riau for the 2024-2028 term was held on April 19, 2024. The voting process began at 8:00 AM in rooms Maksi C and D of FEB, University of Riau. All lecturers were present to exercise their voting rights in selecting the non-professor senate members.

Sem Paulus Silalahi, SE., M.Ak., Ak, as the chairman of the committee, explained that all accounting department lecturers had the opportunity to register as candidates. The candidates for the non-professor senate members of the Accounting Department, FEB, University of Riau for the 2024-2028 term who registered were: Nur Azlina, SE., M.Si., Ak., Ph.D; Julita, SE., M.Si., Ak.; Dr. Emrinaldi Nur DP., SE., M.Si., Ak.; Dr. Alfiati Silfi, SE., M.Si., Ak.; Dr. Poppy Nurmayanti M., SE., M.Si., Ak.

The voting process began with an opening by the chairman of the committee, Sem Paulus Silalahi, SE., M.Ak., Ak, who explained the voting procedures. The event continued with a prayer led by Rezi Abdurrahman, S.E.Sy., M.Ak. Afterward, the voting process by all accounting department lecturers commenced. The voting proceeded solemnly and smoothly.

The vote count results were as follows: Nur Azlina, SE., M.Si., Ak., Ph.D received 37 votes; Julita, SE., M.Si., Ak received 40 votes; Dr. Alfiati Silfi, SE., M.Si., Ak received 5 votes; Dr. Poppy Nurmayanti M., SE., M.Si., Ak received 11 votes; Dr. Emrinaldi Nur DP., SE., M.Si., Ak received 21 votes. Therefore, based on these results, Nur Azlina, SE., M.Si., Ak., Ph.D and Julita, SE., M.Si., Ak were elected as Non-Professor Senate Members of the Accounting Department, FEB, University of Riau for the 2024-2028 term.
